About this job
This is a full time position (37 hours), including Saturdays, and requires a good driving record. Must be at least 25 years old.
Responsibilities include:
- Driving 16-foot box truck to pick up furniture and other donations in homes, businesses, churches and schools
- Using appropriate moving equipment with a partner to lift and move heavy furniture
- Assisting with loading and unloading of purchased furniture, merchandise and donations at GraceWorks
- Communicating with donors to coordinate their pickup time on the scheduled day, including proactively contacting them if the original timeframe changes during the day
- Interacting in a professional and pleasant manner with all staff, donors, customers and volunteers
- Valid Driver's License Required
