About this job
The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) seeks applicants for two (2) Americorps VISTA members during the 2017-2018 academic year. The VISTA members will work in the TBR System Office under the supervision of the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. Primary objective of the VISTA member's work is to support TBR institutions in the development of institutional and community-based resources to support the enrollment and persistence of low-income and veteran students at TBR institutions of higher learning.

All VISTA members should meet the following minimum criteria:
- An associate's or bachelor's degree.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of collaborative team.
- A passion for working with students from diverse backgrounds.
A desire to gain experience in education, counseling, social services, or non-profit management.
