Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant

CL Builders & Development Inc., a growing construction company with its head quarter in Arcadia, CA, is looking for an experienced, reliable, organized, and detail oriented individual to handle the accounting functions and financial analysis for the company.This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual who has excellent work ethics and wants to grow with the company.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Handle the fundamental day-to-day aspects of the Company's financial record keeping
  • Enter all invoices, budget amounts, bank deposits, auto pay entries, and credit card transactions in QuickBooks Pro.
  • Track company expenses and analyze cash flow
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a weekly basis to ensure accuracy
  • Manage Accounts Receivables and ensure payments are collected promptly
  • Manage Accounts Payable and ensure bills are paid timely and accurately
  • Prepare journal entries, post and reconcile the General Ledger
  • Prepare financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, Estimate versus Actual Report, and other specialized reports
  • Annual 1099 preparation
  • Run weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports for management analysis
  • Prepare and distribute appropriate schedules and reports as requested by management, clients and partners
  • Create and implement financial accounting standard operating policies and procedures
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system, both paper and electronic
  • Ensure that all accounting functions are preformed correctly and research and resolve discrepancies as needed
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English and Mandarin Chinese is a plus
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Pro
  • Understanding and knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/ Excel/ Word
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a heavy emphasis on attention to detail 
  • Able to multi-task, set priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to efficiently and accurately prepare routine reports, documents and correspondence 
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Full Charge Bookkeeping/Staff Accounting 
  • Associates Degree or Accounting Certificate preferred
