Responsibilities: We are seeking a full-time, certified Audiologist to join our practice. This practice offers the opportunity to utilize a wide range of skills in the clinic setting and provide care for a diverse population including pediatric patients. Our Audiologists work collaboratively with technicians and with our ENT Department (three physicians and two associate providers) as well as with other specialties and physicians within our health system. Provides assessments of all ages to determine the nature and degree of hearing loss, review the implication of hearing loss regarding communication, provide information regarding listening strategies and amplification to help compensate for the hearing loss, dispense hearing aids and provide follow-up care. Supervises universal newborn hearing screening program. Diagnostic testing includes audiological assessments, vestibular assessments, acoustic immittance, otoacoustic emissions, and evoked potentials. Rehabilitative services include hearing instrument recommendations, selections and fittings, fittings and follow ups for bone anchored hearing appliances (BAHA), and eventually, follow up cochlear implant services.

Qualifications: Minimum level of education includes a post-graduate doctoral degree AuD in Audiology. Minimum one year experience and completion of CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) in Audiology.

License or Certification: Current State of Wisconsin-Audiologist License. Certificate of Clinical Competency-Audiology (CCC-A) issued by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Compensation Detail: Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $2,491.20, based on a full-time position.

Schedule Details: Although a majority of practice will be at the main site in La Crosse, WI, outreach to other sites in the south-west Wisconsin (SWWI) region may be required.
