Stone Mason - Full-time

DeAndrade Hardscapes is a full service masonry and landscape construction company providing high quality services to both residential and commercial properties. We are a growing company looking to hire dependable and experienced stone masons for a full time position who have a strong passion for the industry. We provide services throughout the South Shore, Cape, and the Islands. Our craftsmanship is of utmost importance to the company and we work tirelessly to ensure the project is done to perfection, and to each customer's satisfaction.

We specialize in brick walkways and patios, bluestone and granite, cobblestone and paver driveways, and stone retaining walls.

Responsibilities are but not limited to:

*Preparing & mixing of concrete

*Lay brick, stone, granite, and other hardscape materials

*Construct or repair walkways, steps, fireplaces, and other structures

*Face, size, cut, and lay stone

*Load and unload work vehicles of materials, tools, and equipment needed for job site

*Complete each mason and landscape job within required time frame

*Work within all local health and safety laws and regulations

*Performing general labor duties when requested

Requirements:

*Knowledge of brick, concrete, bluestone, granite, and other similar hardscape materials

*Must have at least 2 years of masonry and landscape construction experience

*Must have a valid drivers license

*Must be willing to travel

*Must be at least 18 years of age

*Must be able to work both as a team as well as independently with little supervision

*Must be able to communicate with customer in polite and professional manner at all times

*Must be able work outdoors in all weather conditions

*Prefer to bring own tools

*Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks

*Ability to lift +/- 80lbs

*Ability to lift stone, brick, granite and the like throughout entire work shift

*Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and work related materials

*Ability to work in a face paced environment while maintaining high quality craftsmanship

Reports to: Business Owner

Compensation is determined based on experience.
