The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Maroone Cancer Center of the Cleveland Clinic Florida is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated junior medical physicist for its state-of-the-art Cancer Center. The successful candidate must hold a Masters in Medical Physics and be board certified or in the process of certification. Strong clinical experience in external beam therapy including treatment planning and high and low dose rate brachytherapy is a must. Experience with SRS/SBRT is a plus. The candidate will be working with two other physicists and one dosimetrist.

The Maroone Cancer Center is housed in a new building on the Cleveland Clinic Florida campus and opened in March of 2015. Our innovative technology includes Varian Edge Radiosurgery Suite, Varian TrueBeam Radiotherapy System, Siemens Somatom Definition AS CT simulator, Nucleotron HDR brachytherapy system, MIMSoftware solutions, SDX respiratory gating, Optical Surface Monitoring System (OSMS), MOSAIQ and EPIC EMRs, and Pinnacle and Eclipse TPS.
