Lawn and Landscape Technicians - Full-time / Part-time

Summary: Maintain and/or landscape grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: mowing, trimming, planting, watering, digging, bed weeding and trash pick-up.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Uses hand tools such ashedge and brush trimmers.
* Operates powered equipment such as zero turn mowers, blowers, and trimmers.
* Mows and edges lawns, using power mowers and edgers.
* Prunes, shrubs, and hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws.
* Performs inspections of equipment to ensure proper working order, which includes checking fluid levels and leaks, conditions of hoses and belts, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and other related mechanical components.
* Reports safety and equipment issues to their supervisor.
* Observes all safety practices associated with the operation of equipment, and common hand and power tools.
* Assists in preventative maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
* Drives a company vehicle to and from job sites.
* Performs all other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications: 
Education and/or Experiences
Less than a High School Diploma; Experience not required, but is preferred. 
Training available.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the individual is to remain in a stationary position for 90 percent of the time. The individual is constantly moving about at the client location to perform lawn maintenance. The individual frequently positions self to cut grass, prune bushes, edge lawns and remove weeds by bending, reaching overhead and near the ground. They are constantly using hand and power tools to complete the work order. They must be able to exchange accurate information with other employees and customers throughout the service process. Must be able to detect mechanical issues from short distances to determine what action needs to be taken. The employee must regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 60 pounds.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the individual is constantly exposed to outside weather conditions. They are occasionally exposed to vibration. The individual performing this job is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. They are also exposed to dust, dirt and grease conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Compensation: 
Wages begin at $9.00 per hour, and but are ultimately dependent on experience and performance.
