Sales Associates at Queen City Gifts & News are known for executing the best-in-class customer service everyday! A typical day includes warmly greeting customers, assisting customers in making purchase decisions, answering questions about all merchandise carried in our store and going the extra mile to help customers navigate the Airport and our great Queen City of Charlotte, NC.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide best-in-class customer service to every customer;
• Store maintenance to include a neat and organized selling area, continuously cleaning shelves, counters and fixtures to create an easy and hazard-free shopping environment;
• Complete daily replenishment order forms to ensure store is stocked appropriately;
• Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment with the ability to multi-task;
• Ability to tender all sales transactions, accurately follow opening and closing shift procedures, and follow company rules and guidelines.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess and demonstrate strong best-in-class customer service, effective communication skills, professionalism and courtesy at all times.
• Work with a consistent sense of urgency.
• Able to prioritize and handle several projects at once.
• Must be a self-starter and ability to work with minimal instruction.
• Attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift boxes/merchandise up to 40 lbs.
