About this job

Cardiovascular Technology and all related tasks within Cardiac Invasive work area, including surgical scrub. Primarily responsible for monitoring and assessment of hemo-dynamic data. Utilization of computers for clinical interpreting of data and assist with the delivery of patient care given during all Cardiac Invasive Procedures. Operation of computers to derive complex data for determination of patient cardiac status. May be cross-trained or assigned other duties as indicated. EDUCATION * High school graduate or GED * AS/BS degree in science. * Graduate of an AMA approved CVT program or related allied health program. LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS * Registered Cardiovascular Technologist with a specialty in invasive technology. * BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) EXPERIENCE * PRN requires a minimum of three (3) years clinical experience in invasive cardiology areas. * Ability to use computers in computing hemodynamic data in related Cardiology technology. * Able to take call and to work closely with physicians. * Extensive experience in all aspects of Cardiac Catheterization (Scrub, monitoring, emergency procedures, contrast injection, post-cath monitoring, etc.) * Work as a "team member" using independent judgment and responsibility.
