Community Support Staff - Part-time

Opportunity Behavioral Health provides community, work and home-based services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking community support staff to provide direct support to clients located in the Lancaster, Lebanon, Harrisburg and Reading, PA areas.  

Requirements of Community Support Staff -Minimum high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's preffered) -Personal/volunteer/paid experience working with individuals with disabilities -Experience working with clients with Autism and other Intellectual disabilities highly preferred -Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license and insurance. Driving record must be clean. -Need criminal record, child abuse, and FBI clearances  Responsibilities of Community Support Staff -Assisting individuals in acquiring, maintaining and improving self-help, domestic, socialization and  adaptive skills. -Supporting individuals, helping them to learn, maintain or improve skills through their participation in a variety of activities of everyday life. -Engage in activities with the individuals to allow them to live in the community, to live more independently, or to be more productive and participatory in community life. -Submit accurate, completed progress notes weekly for every session worked with individual. -Complete necessary training based on the ISP of each individual.
