MUST HAVE A CDA OR A DEGREE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION
Full time and part time hours available- This position starts at 6:00 am Monday- Friday
Pay scale: $9.00/hr. - $14.00/hr. based on experience and education
We are seeking a fun, energetic, and caring early Preschool Teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children.
Responsibilities:
- Creating a fun and safe learning environment
- Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
- Maintaining a clean classroom/ bathroom
- Creating lesson plans for the week
Qualifications:
- CDA or a degree in Early Childhood Education is a MUST
- Previous experience in childcare or teaching
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children and parents
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with children individually
Bilingual is a PLUS***
