We have a part-time/full-time opening for a Fence Installer.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

  • Be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

A well-established Fence Company located in Hurst, TX is currently looking for a full-time Fence Installers to become a part of our TEAM. The position primarily consists of installing temporary chain link fence and/or permanent commercial fence for various general contractors around the DFW metroplex area.

**Before applying please note we are located in Hurst, TX. Punctuality is essential at Universal Fence Company keep in mind of the location, gas and tolls you may have to pay to arrive at work on time!**

Preferred candidates would need to be familiar with general construction tools and practices while maintaining a safe productive work environment.

  • Must have valid state driver's license and safe driving habits.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug test and federal background check with no felonies or current warrants.

  • Perform duties safely at all times, maintain safe and clean work area, and attend all safety meetings.

  • Set fence poles, install fence, and pull fence to Universal Fence Company specifications.

  • Ability to work in extreme climates.

  • Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, or procedural manuals.

  • Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs. overhead.

  • High School diploma or General Education Development certificate (GED) preferred, or one to two years related experience or training.
