Georgia Pre-K Assistant Needed - Full-time / Part-time

Joyful Praise Academy is looking for a Georgia Pre-K Assistant Teacher for the 2017-2018 school year.

 Our preschool builds the solid academic foundation students need for future success. In our school, classes are led by dedicated, caring teachers who value open communication with parents. We are currently looking for a caring and energetic Georgia Pre-K Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Commit to continuing education in the field of preschool education

• Change diapers, implement potty training, and assist with potty training when necessary

 • Interact with children to support play, exploration, and learning

• Communicate with parents, staff and children using a variety of methods including tablets and technology

 • Actively participate in staff meetings and trainings

 • Individualize daily activities and curriculum to meet the individual needs of the children

Qualifications:

 • TCC, CDA, or Bachelor’s Degree required

• Strong written and communication skills

• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices

• 1 year min experience in a state licensed facility within the last five yrs

• Must be 18 years of age or older without any prior criminal record
