JOB SUMMARY:
Fills pure products in various cylinder package sizes and configurations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Maintains a safe work environment and actively promotes safe work practices in the facility.
* Reviews individual requests for compliance to Airgas SOP requirements.
* Maintains fill records and raw material documentation to maintain product traceability.
* Performs filling operations in accordance with applicable SOPs and work instructions.
* Maintains all equipment and performs preventative maintenance and calibrations as required to ensure operational reliability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have reliable, appropriate transportation.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
COMMUNICATION and/or CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS:
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret work instructions.
* Ability to understand chemical terminology and nomenclature.
* Ability to recognize chemical hazards and respond appropriately.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals using the English language.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
* Ability to compute units of measure and conversions.
