About this job

The primary role of the front desk is to act as the first point of contact for all clinic patients and visitors. The front desk is responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, collections, and readying patient information for appointments as well as ensuring chart accuracy. Partime and Fulltime position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet all visitors and patients
  • Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate staff
  • Provide office support to clinical, staff, and management
  • Analysis of patient trends, marketing support, and administrative support
  • Secure and confirm new patients and patient appointments
  • Process paperwork
  • Follow up on leads Interview Patients to complete documents, case histories, and forms such as intake and insurance forms
  • Use discretion to make decisions independently in the submission of super bills to ensure that charges match the therapies given and is supported by the notes and further confirmed via the doctor's scripts

  • Ability to work with all types of people
  • Ability to multi-task is a must
  • Detail-oriented with good organization skills
  • Ability to prioritize important tasks is necessary
  • Knowledge of insurance rules and billing policies/best practices
  • *Qualified candidates need to be extremely organized, possess strong customer service skills, and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

Locations:

We have 6 clinic locations and 1 corporate location all throughout the Chicagoland area. The towns are as follows; Arlington Heights, Berwyn, Naperville, Orland Park, Wheaton, and Wilmette. 

 

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent

Required experience:

  • Medical Receptionist: 4 years
