Position Summary
Sound Pure is looking for a bright, passionate individual with a thirst for knowledge and a desire to build rich relationships, while discussing the world of fine musical instruments. The position is in our energized and team-focused environment in downtown Durham, NC. This inside sales position will be based in our Guitar Division, consisting primarily of acoustic guitars, electric guitars, amps, and pedals.
The Opportunity
During your initial training period, you will develop deep and wide knowledge of stringed instruments across many areas, including manufacturers, manufacturing techniques, tonal characteristics, and the matching of these to customer interests and playing styles. Once certified as a Sound Pure Guitar Sales Specialist (time varies based on your background and experience), your attention will turn entirely toward proactively engaging potential clients and developing relationships with them. You will be our number one resource for connecting our customers with the products that best suit them - products that are best-in-class and that we truly believe in. Your primary job responsibilities will include:

Developing and applying an understanding of Sound Pure's product offerings, processes, and customers.

Developing and maintaining extensive and deep knowledge of guitars and guitar-related products.
- Maintaining the CRM (Customer Relationship Management Software), including Logging all customer interactions, Updating customer profiles, and Maintaining up-to-date follow-up tasks for customers.
