Housekeeper

The housekeeper will perform all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the department. Duties include, routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, offices, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, in a clean neat and sanitary manner. Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned. Utilizes chemical supplies and safety equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures. Maintain good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with co-workers, staff employees and physicians. Maintain quality, performance and attendance standards. Will be assigned other duties as needed to support the mission and objectives of the Enviromental Services department.

High School Dipolma or equavilent. Six months to one year in institutional housekeeping. Familiarity with housekeeping supplies and equipmnet is required. The position requires good customer service skills. Requirements will include successful completion of orientation checklist and skills/credentials/competency requirments.
