Job Summary:

Senior Provider Compensation Analyst reports to the Director of Provider Affairs. The position coordinates The Physician Network provider compensation program, up to and including pay plan recommendations, budgeting, provider incentive criteria governance, and productivity analysis. The position works routinely with Network leadership in a consultative role. The position is the primary resource for provider compensation analysis and consultative resource.

Essential Duties:

Maintains TPN Board-directed compensation and plans for all providers (MD's, Advance Practice Clinicians); Participates in Provider Compensation Committee.

Along with the Director of Provider Affairs, leads TPN Provider Compensation work team --assuring compensation related details are properly and timely addressed; communicated and processes are maintained for all stakeholders/users of provider compensation data. (i.e.) Director of Provider Affairs; Recruiters; Contracting and Operations leaders. Analyst presents financial models related to proposals and compensation plan modifications being discussed, also making recommendations for standards and standard practices.

Analyzes provider compensation plans/policies in relation to CHI corporate policy and government regulations, fair market value for physicians and APC's in the same specialty and geographic areas, and recommends changes as appropriate to establish and maintain competitive rates.

Along with Director and VP of provider affairs recommends annual provider compensation budget, performs m onthly reviews and researches variances based on CHI established policies.

As requested prepares and presents financial models related to proposals and compensation plan modifications being discussed and makes recommendations to leadership.

Recommends and implements changes and modifications to existing pay plan to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity and consistency.

Analyzes and coordinates distribution of Division, Practice and Provider analytics including establishment of appropriate metrics and comparable benchmarks, distribution of dashboards and facilitation of ongoing education.

Responsible for processes to compensate providers accurately and timely including:

Processing of monthly, quarterly and annual compensation/bonus calculations for production, non-production/incentive bonus and retention payments

Processing compensation for independent providers

Hours: Flexible; ability to telecommute

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or Related Management required. CPA or MBA preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

None required.

Experience/Pre-Requisites:

Minimum of three years of healthcare finance or operations experience required, preferred experience in either employee or provider compensation.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Strong mathematical skills.
