POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Protec Sales Rep will be responsible for selling infection prevention products in the dental industry through assigned wholesale distribution channels, Dental groups and Dental offices. The candidate would work with distribution and wholesale centers in the dental and medical industry.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Brings experience, sales excellence, and incredible people skills and can successfully develop productive relationships and manage a territory in a cost-effective manner while achieving results.
  • Develops Dental distributors, group dental practice business to increase market share of all Protec products.
  • Develops and presents business plans and promotions to customer base that drives results.
  • Attends trade shows and coordinates and conducts appropriate dealer-training sessions.
  • Prospers in a pay for performance compensation plan by overdriving results.
  • Has a successful track record in exceeding sales goals in a high growth environment.
  • Possesses excellent organizational skills to effectively plan and prioritize to exceed goals.
  • Being well versed on Protec products and services, competitive intelligence and industry information.
  • Maintaining accurate records for prospects, customer orders, sales records, and other financial activity 
 
Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • B.A. or B.S degree required ( Science/technical or Communications background a plus) or a minimum of 2 years' experience in the dental industry. 
  • 2+ years outside sales experience selling a premium product preferred.
  • Successful end user sales selling a tangible product preferable through distribution.
  • A demonstrated track record for meeting sales objectives for a dynamic company. Dental or medical device sales experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with proven time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and creatively.
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop on-going professional relationships with customers.
  • A strong initiative with exceptional customer service, planning and organization skills is desired. Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate are highly preferred qualities. Previous success attaining and exceeding sales goals is a plus.
