Job Title: Firmware Developer

We are currently looking for an experienced Firmware Developer to join our clients' Richardson, Texas team. The description and requirements for the job are below:

The applications and skills listed below are REQUIRED (MUST HAVES) in order of priority:

• Embedded Linux - Linaro or direct equivalent - kernel, driver and driver fix and build experience in embedded systems
• MUST be able to build kernels and drivers to match hardware
• MUST have ARM experience and be able to read, understand and implement from a SOC RM (Reference Manual)
• MUST be K and R c, gcc, and make file capable and code direct to c (as in does this every day and is fully current)
• CLI - MUST have direct continuous CLI experience in a non-GUI environment, be well versed in serial port sys and error logging and debug
• Bash scripting, syscontrol scripting
• cvs, svn or git - MUST know how to use one of these and understand how to methodically document code and checkins

Not required, but a big plus if you have experience in the following:

• SDCC experience
• Have experience using either python or tck/tl as a day to day tool
• Ability to read schematics as well as understand them
• Have 8051 experience at the C and uCode level
• Experience grounding in FPGA's (verilog ideal)
