Responsibilities: Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin is seeking 3 Nurse Practitioners (NP) or Physician Assistants (PA). The candidates will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a healthcare team to provide acute care services to patients in the La Crosse, Wisconsin, market.
Position Details:
* See health conditions similar to those seen in Family Medicine & Urgent Care practices, while collaboratively maintaining continuity with respective chronic care providers. Assist patients with establishing themselves with a primary care team/physician.
* The clinic is open weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays.
* Working environment will be fast paced, and candidates must possess the ability to multitask. There will be variable shift lengths ranging from 4 to 12 hours, and potentially different clinic locations. Candidates will be a part of a collaborative care practice.
* Provide timely, convenient care to all patients and families, including walk-in patients.
* Provide exemplary customer service to patients, visitors and coworkers.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing as a nurse practitioner or a graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Current licensing/credentialing in Wisconsin or eligible for licensing/credentialing. Certified or eligible for certification. Both new graduates and those with experience will be considered, however, experience is preferred. Familiarity with a high-paced primary care or urgent care setting is helpful. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required. Must possess ability to work independently, autonomously and interdependently with other health care professionals.
License or Certification: BLS certification and DEA registration required.

Compensation Detail: Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
