PART TIME Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

The successful candidate will be responsible for training green belt candidates through training and project mentoring using the DMAIC, Lean or project management methodologies.

This position requires the ability to understand business needs, interpret technical information and develop solution related activities.

 

Main Accountabilities:

  • Deliver 6 sigma green belt training programs
  • Deliver Lean manufacturing introductory and intermediate training courses
  • Mentor candidates through project completion process during class time.
    • Help Identify, define, prioritize, implement, and track Lean Six Sigma and innovation projects through company dashboard.
    • Oversee the development of project deliverables that satisfy project objectives.
    • Ensure implementation of clear project roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities.
    • Provide control plan and oversight to ensure project quality improvement and performance standards are maintained.
    • Assist with statistical analyses
  • Identify and deliver additional client training needs

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

 

Studies-Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science is required, preferably in engineering or an equivalent technical field.
  • Masters in organizational leadership or closely related field is required.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant Lean Six Sigma work experience in the field of manufacturing operations, technical support, or product development.
  • 10 years leadership experience is required.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement methodologies. 
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is required.
  • Lean Manufacturing certification preferred.
