About this job
Well-established, growing law office seeking an experienced, full-time legal assistant/paralegal in the personal injury practice area.Candidates with a Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate and bi-lingual (Spanish) are preferred.
Job responsibilities include any activity related to case management such as:
- Contacting clients with/for updates on legal matters
- Transcribing dictation, drafting letters, handling emails and faxes
- Working with attorneys in preparing case documents and/or exhibits for trial and updating attorney calendars
- Case work follow-ups and ensuring frequent and regular client communication
Job Requirements:
- Microsoft Office experience required.
- Experience with legal software, particularly Time Matters is preferred.
- Experience in workers' compensation and personal injury practice areas required.
Salary & Benefits
$25-35k per year depending upon experience.Benefit package includes health insurance, paid time off, 401K, profit sharing, LTD Insurance and Life insurance offered.
