Providence is calling an Administrative Assistant (Front Desk, Evening Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Mt St Vincent in Seattle, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all -- especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

This position works 2.30pm to 11.00pm, Monday through Friday.

In this position you will:

* Provide administrative support in day-to-day functions and projects of Communications, Business Office, Operations, and other departments.

* Answer telephones adhering to guidelines of answering calls within four rings. Routes calls correctly, and takes accurate messages when necessary. Greets visitors, responding courteously and appropriately to all inquiries.

* Support Staffing Office after regular business hours, following established guidelines for scheduling and communicating with staff.

* Perform general clerical functions such as filing, memos, minutes, report preparation, photocopying and data entry.

* Provide superior customer service to clients, visitors and staff.

Required qualifications for this position include:

* High School diploma or GED equivalent required

* One year office experience, preferably in a healthcare setting required

* Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing

* Proficient typing skills required

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

* Experience working in a receptionist capacity answering a multi-line phone and greeting customers and/or customer service experience preferred

* Proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook preferred
