Join a fantastic team of healthcare professionals in Southern Oregon! Providence is calling a Registered Nurse to its Medical, Telemetry unit. New graduate RNs will qualify.

This job posting represents full-time, night shift, positions with hours from 7pm-7:30am, 3 days per week. Weekend and holiday rotations are required.

In this position, you will:

Provide and supervise professional, independent nursing care for Providence patients that is as evidence-based as possible.

Facilitate care that is based in the nursing process and is consistent with the Oregon Nurse Practice Act.

Apply knowledge of assessing, planning, ordering, giving, delegating, teaching and supervising professional nursing care delivery that promotes patient optimal health and independence.

Practice professional nursing which requires a broad range of general nursing knowledge and expertise.

Develop and validate knowledge and skills essential to the assigned department, patient population and/or practice area are crucial.

Participate in and lead clinical teams and may supervise, assign or delegate to licensed practical nurses (LPNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and other healthcare workers.

Required q ualifications for this position include:

Current, unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for healthcare provider certification within 6 months of hire

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire

Relevant training and certifications applicable to the position, as specified by the Nurse Manager

Preferred q ualifications for this position include:

Bachelor's degree in nursing; required for newly hired Registered Nurses as of 2018

1 year of acute care RN experience
