Retail Sales Associate

Sunglass Shack is currently hiring for retail sales positions both for our Oceanfront location (1900 C Atlantic Ave, 23451) and our Lynnhaven Mall location (KIOSK in front of APPLE & Sephora). You may occasionally work both locations based upon availability.

If you are great at talking to people, outgoing, charismatic, hard working and upbeat we would like to speak with you. The position deals in selling quality eyewear such as Oakley, Ray Ban, Costa, Maui Jim, GUCCI, Versace, Michael Kors, Armani, Coach and more brands.

We are currently hiring for a Sales Associate position. Open and flexible schedule required (nights/weekends). Pay is a starting base of $9/hr + up to 5% commission on sales, you will average about $11/hr at the lowest up to $15/hr in the Summer months. There is also room to potentially move up in position based upon how hard of a worker you are.

**In a single day, an employee has done over $120 in commission alone! The better salesperson you are, the more you will make. Sell a $300 pair of sunglasses and make $15 in commission.**

Job Requirements:

- Retail experience recommended

- Basic computer comprehension in order to operate our POS system

- Energetic and up-beat attitude a must

- Must be able to easily talk with customers.

- Must have reliable transportation to work

- Semi-professional work attire.

- Must be reliable, we do not have the staff to easily cover your shift if you cannot make it in.

- MUST BE AVAILABLE to work nights and weekends.

Job Duties:

- Stocking and cleaning sunglasses

- Operating the POS System

- Dealing with customers directly

- Keeping the store/kiosk clean and presentable
