About this job

We're looking for an honest, reliable and experienced night auditor we can trust to provide superior customer service to our hotel guests while completing daily reporting and balancing.

In this role, the successful candidate will:

  • Perform basic front desk duties; answering phones, entering reservations, checking guests in and out, communicating guest needs to the proper channels, maintain good guest relations, etc.
  • Ensure that all charges of the day have been properly posted to the appropriate guest folio or master account.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage outlets have balanced.
  • Ensure that all front office charges and miscellaneous charges and adjustments have been posted and balanced out.
  • Ensure that all guest charges have been balanced and all appropriate reports have been run and all supporting documentation is attached to the appropriate reports.
  • Prepare and distribute the daily managers' report
  • Have passion for service; like taking care of others; and provide that friendly above and beyond service to our customers
  • Other duties as assigned - additional duties can vary from day to day as business dictates.

This is a part-time position and the pay rate is commensurate with experience.The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Knowledge of computers, accounting, auditing and front desk procedures.
  • Pro
  • Thorough knowledge of computer systems: i.e.MS Excel, Word, and e-mail systems.
  • Basic office skills such as copy, fax and scanning, filing, etc..
  • Ability to multi-task, follow through and re-prioritize well to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate and develop an effective working relationship with fellow associates, managers, outside representatives, agencies, and hotel guests.
  • Ability to deal professionally, courteously and tactfully with the public and coworkers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Overnight availability and a flexible schedule is a MUST.
