About this job

* Responds to referrals from Intake Center

* Places outbound calls to contacts requesting information and/or generates e-mail requests to centers

* Places outbound calls to new patients to complete survey

* Acts on data gathered by following established procedures, handling contacts

* Responds to web-generated inquiries and acts on the data gathered per established procedures

* Adds data and knowledge to all knowledge databases

* Thoroughly follows established procedures and follow up mechanisms

* Liaises with DaVita teammates at other locations to provide customer service excellence

* Abides by performance metrics

* A clinical background in dialysis preferred

* Ability and willingness to service dialysis placements during various emergencies (ex: hurricanes, floods, etc)

* Act as team lead for Southern Links department

* Compile and generate reports on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly basis

* Conduct and supervise customer service calls

* Attend monthly meetings with administrative team

* Essential Traits for Success as an Admissions Coordinator:

* Ability and willingness to learn about dialysis treatment options and patient placement process & protocol

* Ability to up sell and cross sell DaVita programs

* Excellent customer relationship and inter-company network building skills

* Superb customer-centered phone manner

* Ability to empathize with Guests under stressful circumstances and yet remain operationally effective

* Excellent, fast, thorough data entry skills, ability to "touch type" (without looking) a huge advantage

* Organized multi-tasker with excellent time management and prioritization skills

* Attention to accuracy of details and relentless follow-through with a curious and investigative inclination

* Ability to proactively add knowledge gained to the CRM databases to improve processes and help refine procedures

* Adherence to achieving the metrics and goals that are set for the department and receptivity to constructive feedback and development

* Adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information and patient and medical professional interaction

* Knowledge of and/or experience in dialysis and different dialysis modalities is also preferred.

* Supervisory experience is helpful, but not required for the position.
