Summary of Position

  • Working with the General Manager and Shift Leaders, create an amazing customer experience while making outstanding pizza, paninis and salads.  Assist with daily preparation, construction, and service of all menu items with focus on restaurant cleanliness & safe food handling practices.
  • Pay Rate - $8.10 - $10+ an hour

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creates a world class customer experience for all customers.
  • Prepares a variety of menu items in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Knows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies & procedures.
  • Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
  • Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, refrigerators, & ovens.
  • Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
  • Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
  • Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assists in closing the restaurant and cleaning.
  • Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the shift manager or manager-on-duty.
