At least 18 years of age

Current USA Coaching Credentials and CPR/Safety Certifications

Current ASCA Level 2 (or higher) certification
-
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with other coaches, league representatives, swimmers, & parents.
-
Demonstrated ability to be a role model for swimmers; setting examples of integrity, commitment, respect, responsibility, cooperation & sportsmanship
-
Demonstrated ability to work with swimmers of all ages, experience with evaluating and improving swimmer stroke technique
-
Experience in running thoughtful, motivated practice sessions that keep swimmers engaged
[Essential Duties; but not limited to]

Lead structured practices throughout the swim season

Engage parents & cultivate relationships to create a collaborative swim team environment

Assist in maintaining a clean/safe environment for swim team participants

Assist the Head Coach in creating thorough, age-appropriate workouts focusing on technique, endurance, stroke development, drills, etc.

Attend swim team events such as meets, meetings, social events, etc. as needed
