Banquet Servers and Captains - Part-time

The Manor House Banquet and Conference Center is currently looking for part-time banquet servers and captains.

The banquet server position will involve serving guests during formal events such as weddings, parties, and corporate meetings. You will be responsible for food and beverage service and attending to any needs the guests may have. It will also include setting up for events and tearing down and cleaning rooms once an event ends. The banquet captain position includes all the responsibilities of the banquet server in addition to added responsibility and leadership requirements.

Please note that the schedule changes week to week and shift times vary depending on what type of events we have occuring. We almost always have events Friday and Saturday nights as those are the days the majority of our events occur. We are looking for help during the week and in the mornings as well.

Requirements for this position include but are not limited to:

-Reliable transportation (we are not on a bus line)

-Open availability including Friday and Saturday nights and holidays such as New Years Eve when most events occur.

-Customer service skills and ability to interact with guests professionally.

-Willingness to work evening hours and into the AM (events often end at 11pm or later)

-Ability to lift trays of food and dishes (15-20lbs)

-Ability to purchase own uniform (for banquet server position)

            -Black non-slip shoes

            -Black dress socks

            -Black dress pants

            -White tuxedo shirt or collared dress shirt

            -Black vest

            -Black bowtie
