Critical Qualifications

  • Experience with mobile operating systems, specifically iOS and Android
  • Experience with home networking, such as Wi-Fi and router configuration
  • Engaging personality using critical thinking, organization, empathy, and adept writing skills
  • Proficient computer skills, beneficial if familiar with Windows 8, ZenDesk, or Excel
  • Accurately document notes swiftly while educating and actively listening to customers
  • Self-driven, flexible schedule, dedicated to learning tech, systems, and skill to create solutions

 

Job Summary
As part of the SkyBell Technical Support Team, the Technical Support Representative will provide exceptional customer experiences by answering inbound calls from customers needing assistance, troubleshooting online tickets and providing customer service in a multi-faceted call center setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate superb communication skills by consistently applying correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation to written exchanges internally and to our customers. They will need to expeditiously identify appropriate solutions by referencing online resources and regularly absorbing product expertise to reinforce customer confidence.

Education
Some college or higher

Additional Information
Support coverage is 7 days a week, between 7:00AM and up to 6:30PM, depending on individual schedules.
Weekly hours range from part-time up to 40 hours.
Initial training averages 2-3 weeks.
Pay rate starts at $15.00/hour.
