Electrician Apprentice

Diamond Security, INC. has an opening for an Electrician's Apprentice position for Commercial Work. Apprenticeship Certification Required!

We are looking for a great worker who can deliver constant results!!!

The candidate is responsible for but not limited to:

• Compliant with local, city, state, and national electrical codes
• Properly reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Gathering appropriate material for daily tasks
• Installing conduits using a hand, mechanical, or hydraulic bender
• Install new wire in existing systems or repairing old wiring
• Providing power and controls to motors, HVAC, and other equipment
• Installing fire alarm, security, lighting control, data/telecom, and energy management systems
• Mounting panel boards, transformers, switch gear, transfer switches, and other various types of equipment
• Troubleshooting and repairing all systems

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate can install a new system installation from start to finish
• Previous experience in security installation, maintenance, or electrical other related fields are key
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Must have a professional appearance
• Must have a valid and clean driver's license
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Must have good organizational skills
• Must have good customer service skills
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to complete and turn in paperwork daily
• Must be able to work on ladders at various heights
• Must be able to work in crawl spaces and attics
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to work well with others
• Work Hours may vary
• Apprenticeship Certification Required!
