SHIPPING & RECEIVING DEPARTMENT
** 1st Shift ** Monday through Friday
Great opportunity for the person who enjoys performing a variety of tasks throughout the day instead of focusing on only one operation continuously. Job duties alternate between working at a computer desk and working in the warehouse assisting with inventory operations.
This is a fast past position that includes opportunity for advancement to the person who will apply themselves toward learning new skills and who has a strong work ethic. On the job training is provided.
Primary Responsibilities: Packaging products for shipment and creating the appropriate shipping labels using a Computer Shipping Program in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements

- Computer Experience is a MUST- ability to switch between multiple screens, windows/tabs and programs- Testing will be performed

Responsibilities
- Scan product out of inventory using a handheld barcode scanner
- Package product including the selection of proper packaging and inserting product in a neat and efficient manner
- Use of Computer Shipping program to verify shipping data and create shipping labels
- Learn and apply the pricing/shipping rules of USPS and UPS
- Navigate USPS and UPS websites to verify shipping times and charges
- Navigate an online inventory program to verify product quantities and warehouse location
- Use Excel spreadsheet to create product pull sheets.
- Maintain a sharp focus and attention to details to insure accuracy and efficiency in shipping
- Maintain neat and well-stocked shipping station
- Other duties as required
