About this job
The production foreman position we have available would entail planning, organizing and producing trade show events, here in Pittsburgh as well as out of town. Daily tasks would include but not limited to:
-Organizing and pulling all materials and equipment needed for each show
-Preparing for heavy equipment that may need to be rented, such as fork lifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks
-Putting together trucking logistics for the event
-Strategically running a labor crew of 2-25 men, depending on the size of the show on site
-Relaying information from event management to your labor team
-Producing an event while also staying within a the budget given
Work Experience that would help with this position would be:
-Working with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word programs to log data
-Being able to read and understand CAD floor plans and relaying them to the labor team
-Familiarity with a fast pace working environment
