About this job

The Breakfast Host serves as a functional member of the Gallery Host team, by operating the Gallery Kitchen during breakfast hours. Responsible for preparing buffet items, and limited menu, while also ensuring excellent guest service.

Essential Function:

  • Resolves guest complaints and satisfactions of the guest; responds promptly to any guest request for service
  • Arrives at work in a timely fashion in accordance with the posted schedule
  • Abides by established uniform guidelines
  • Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and philosophy of Hyatt Place. Displays dignity and respect of others at all times.
  • Works as a member of the overall hotel team to ensure that each guest has an experience that exceeds their expectations
  • Assists with other departments within the hotel when necessary to ensure guest needs.
  • Attends scheduled training sessions within the hotel as dictated by the Hyatt brand and the hotel management
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment in an assembly kitchen environment
  • Put away all food order items appropriately according to food and beverage guidelines
  • Assist Gallery Hosts and maintain a clean food preparation area
  • Prepare simple dishes, dressings and foods according to posted Hyatt Place brand directions

Work Environment
