Automation Personnel Services is seeking: Bilingual Candidates.
This position assists with pulling rental equipment, loading and unloading delivery trucks, placing rental equipment according to the driver s directions, as well as providing the driver with directional assistance and driving directions.
This position will also assist with other warehouse duties as instructed by management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills and other characteristics. This list of tasks is illustrative only, and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class. It does not imply that all positions within the class perform all of the duties listed, nor does it necessarily list all possible duties that may be assigned.
Pulls rental inventory from staging area according to the Customer s contract.
Assists with accurate loading rental equipment into trucks ensuring that rental equipment is properly loaded and secure to reduce breakage.
Counts and records items loaded on correct paperwork. Notifies supervisor of missing items.
Works with the driver and/or Crew Lead to load all non-rental equipment supplies such as sledge hammers, tie straps, screwdrivers.
Sets up or tears down rental goods according to instructions from the Crew Lead and/or the Customer s
contract.
Works with the driver and/or Crew Lead to instruct customers on the proper use and safety features of rental equipment.
At customer site collects empty containers of unused goods.
Reloads truck in a safe and efficient manner according to supervisors instructions.
Unloads used rental equipment at company s warehouse, returning equipment to the correct inspection area or storage area.
Cleans and maintains the inside of truck cab and cargo areas as well as dock and equipment storage areas.
Provides directional assistance and guidance (including backing assistance) as instructed by driver.
Reads a road map and clearly communicates directions to the driver.
Reports safety violations to supervisor.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations (including the correct use of Personal
Protective Equipment) in written or verbal form.
Complies with company and government safety requirements and other regulations.
Attends department, location and safety meetings.
