UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER - Full-time

Candidates for our current positions within the unarmed portfolios of business must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have customer service or previous security experience.
• Possess reliable personal transportation.
• Possess a clear criminal background with no felony convictions within the last 10 years. Misdemeanors will be considered on a case- by -case basis depending on the severity.
• Be able to obtain and maintain a Denver Merchant's Guard License.
• Submit to and successfully pass a rapid panel drug screen.Drug screen includes testing for marijuana, as well as other controlled substances.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Be able to demonstrate above average written and verbal English communication skills.
• Be able to multi-task and possess good attention to detail.
• Be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekend shifts.
• Have a proven history of integrity, reliability, and punctuality with minimal attendance issues, as verified by previous employer(s).

Individuals WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED if they:

• Have been dishonorably discharged from the Armed Forces
• Are currently under indictment in any court for a felony or any other crime
• Are subject of an active restraining order
• Willfully misrepresent facts during the application process
• Have a proven history of dishonestly, deception, fraud, or violence.

Job Requirements:

• Additional physical requirements may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Work in various environments including adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain or heat;
• Maintain constant mental alertness and attention to detail
• Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
• Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting; may require computer skills
• Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
