Job Summary Installs, configures and maintains computer workstation hardware, software and peripheral equipment. Conducts maintenance needs assessments. Collaborates with computer users to identify and resolve hardware and software operational problems. The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for working helpdesk calls, to triage hardware issues, computer setups, complete Online Support tickets for Allergy Partners locations and staff. This is a non-exempt position with a standard five day work week and must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Essential Functions and Duties Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Professional interaction with Allergy Partners Physicians and staff across the United States. * Respond to support desk requests and resolve issues as first contact or escalate internally. * Assist with training of new users. * Provide documentation of processes and solutions to enable team collaboration * Maintain software and hardware inventories for various sites as necessary * Update basic IT department web page information * Installs and configures computer workstation hardware, software, and peripheral equipment. * Conducts maintenance needs assessments and plans, implements and coordinates workstation hardware and software maintenance schedules including patching, cleaning, data recovery, upgrades and testing. * Collaborates with computer users to provide technical support and to assist in the resolution of software and hardware problems. Identifies recurring hardware and software problems and recommends plans for prevention and resolution. * Performs other tasks or assumes other responsibilities as may be assigned by immediate supervisor or higher. * May assist with systems administration functions such as managing user accounts and profiles, and maintaining hardware and software inventory and licenses.

Requirements: * Experience with and competence supporting Windows Operating Systems * Learn new skills independently to effectively solve problems. * Must have scheduling flexibility for after hours and weekend tasks/projects. * Knowledge of commonly used computer workstation hardware and software components. * Skill in troubleshooting computer workstation hardware and software problems. * Skill in installing, configuring, maintaining and testing computer workstation hardware, software and peripheral equipment. * Skill in explaining technical concepts to non-technical users. * Skill in researching new computer workstation hardware and software. * Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. * Ability to work in a team and independently. Be self-motivated. * Work with other team members to ensure continuity and communication. * Must have excellent organizational, documentation and communications skills with attention to details and follow up. * Must be able to work effectively under deadline pressures and environments with minimal supervision. * Must be able to effectively determine cause, effect and solutions, in a timely manner, to various hardware and/or software problems. * Must be able to react to change in a productive, timely manner.

Qualifications: * Three years of experience installing, configuring and maintaining computer workstation hardware, software and peripheral equipment or related experience; OR * Associate's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Technology or related field AND two years of experience installing, configuring and maintaining computer workstation hardware, software and peripherals or related experience; OR, * Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education
