About this job
We are seeking a full-time outside sales representative for our busy construction company (roofing, gutters & downspouts, siding, soffit, fascia). A valid driver's license is required as this position requires a good amount of time on the road. We are looking for someone organized, genuine, motivated, and customer-service oriented with high energy, excellent communication/people skills, and who has the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A proven track record of success in outside sales is a MAJOR plus!
Duties include:
* Canvassing areas
* Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business
* Determine customer needs and and propose appropriate service needs
* Meet or exceed sales goals
* Regularly meet with Sales Manager to review weekly sales, progress, and status
* Documenting leads and active clients in our software system
* Networking with insurance companies and local vendors
* Meeting with homeowners to go over the insurance process
* Scheduling adjuster meetings with insurance companies
* Following up on leads
* Other duties, as needed
