About this job
We are seeking qualified candidates for full time Class A CDL flatbed drivers! Preferred prospects will have CDL A experience of 3 years or more and have NYS coil endorsement. Flat bed experience is a must with knowledge of tarping, strapping, chaining, and coil racks. Drayage experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be proficient with driver paperwork, including paper logs, pre-trip/DVIR forms, and must be able to read, write, and communicate in English fluently in a courteous and professional manner. A well-versed knowledge of legal D.O.T. procedures and FMCSA safety regulations is essential.
Route 32 Supply predominately transports construction materials, including roofing, insulation, and lumber, as well as metal materials and equipment. This is an over the road position with variable routes that could be northeast regional or long distance within the lower 48 states. We regularly operate within the northeast (Maine to Virginia) with occasional destinations to the southern and mid-western U.S.Prospective drivers must be responsible, ambitious, outgoing, and able to be away from home at least a week at a time. Drivers are home most weekends and some week nights.
Physical requirements include: lifting up to 150lbs, throwing straps and bindings, and the ability to climb on trailer when required. Must be able to pass a drug test at all times.

Required experience:
