Restaurant Maintenance Technician

Necessary Skills and Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Advance work experience maintaining a large facility

Restaurant Maintenance Technician’s Job Summary:

To maintain the day-to-day equipment functions of operating the restaurant and to assume responsibility for the up-keeping of the physical asset and the functional operations of the property with the direction of the Kitchen Director

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain all areas of the facility and equipment (Clean Air Rite Filters, CO2 compressors, fryers, gaskets, vent hoods, rooftop vents, signage
• Responsible for the completion of all routine maintenance service requests as assigned.
• Coordinate special projects as directed by the Kitchen Director.
• Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors
• Responsible for emergency maintenance service if necessary during the hours of operation
• Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
• Complete grounds work as directed by Kitchen Director which may include picking up trash, sweeping curb and dumpster areas and maintaining landscaping beds and other areas.
• Responsible for alerting the executive directors of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur.
• This job requires exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, 25-50 pounds of force frequently, and 10-20 pounds of force constantly.
• Special projects and other responsibilities may be determined.

Additional Info:

• Scheduled for 35+ hours/week
• Schedule will be determined based on business needs
