We are currently seeking a new addition to our nest based CNC team.  Creating MDF doors and custom wood products utilizing a variety of 3 axis vertical routers in our Modern production facility. 

CNC operators must know how to Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, layout, job order and related technical data for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cut, and determines setup procedures, control settings, material requirements, machining methods and sequence of operations.

Prepares and pre-sets all tools needed for machining operations. 

Positions and secures workpiece in holding device, machine table, chuck, centers, or fixtures.

Moves controls to position tool and workpiece in relation to each other, and to set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut.

Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or associate's degree programs available. The ability to read and understand formulas and follow written and verbal directions are essential for CNC operators. High school science, mathematics, English and communication courses can be useful.

Required skills and Education 

  • Certificate or Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to communicate effectively with production line team members to complete repairs efficiently and meet daily production goals.
  • High level of motivation and ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Possess the energy and drive to accomplish goals, meet deadlines and find solutions
