About this job

•    Oversee the operation of multiple cafes, provide leadership, guidance and support to cafe managers and TeaMembers.
•    Recruit, hire, train and develop General Managers and Assistant Managers
•    Support managers in the all areas of performance.  Provide positive feedback and coaching, addressing performance issues quickly and thoroughly. 
•    Ensure sales and profit targets are met 
•    Utilize management information tools, analyze P&L and other financial reports to identify and address trends/issues in store performance, constantly review store environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportuniTeas for improvement
•    Own your district. Institute and enforce Argo Tea’s facilities guidelines, while working with your managers to maintain store excellence and ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment
•    Keep current on all product information, communications, promotions and the status of the merchandise; communicate all pertinent information to the TEAm
•    Be sales and opportuniTea-driven! Utilize the company’s marketing guidelines to increase traffic within your district, work with General Managers to create quarterly marketing calendars and implement local area CommuniTea programs 
•    Conduct systematic performance and quality control evaluations (tests, audits, etc)
•    Work with the UniversiTea TEAm to ensure that the ongoing GPAs are conducted in a timely fashion; ensure that new hires are trained and on-boarded according to the company’s standards. 
•    Apply accurate labor forecasts and create “smart” labor templates to staffing levels by utilizing succession and labor planning tools, coordinate and maintain staffing levels according to the labor budget, monitor labor variance and enforce constant workflow deployment
•    Maintain uniform cash handling throughout district. Troubleshoot with managers regarding cash irregularities and audit monthly record books.
•    Address and identify loss prevention issues, working with managers to resolve all discrepancies. 
•    Always be available to your TEAm, create an open-door and fun culture
•    Identify and develop future Argo leaders from within your TEAm, create and execute individual-specific action plans aimed to increase TeaMembers’ performance 
•    Offer continuous coaching, conduct timely performance evaluations 
•    Set the high standards! Model behavior wanted from others, demonstrating commitment and promoting the culture, values 
•    and passion of Argo Tea 
•    Enforce and follow the company’s system of guidelines, policies, processes and procedures to achieve operational excellence in all stores within your district
•    Maintain awareness, follow and enforce the loss prevention, security and safety guidelines 
•    Promote and support the TEAm spirit across the company, not just your store

•    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 5+ years of experience
•    3-5 years of foodservice or retail multi-unit management experience 
•    Ability to travel locally  
•    Strong financial acumen, P&L management
•    Strong verbal, communication and leadership skills, ability to lead by example
•    Previous experience dealing with HR related issues such as performance reviews, hiring, training etc.
•    Flexible schedule, ability to work long hours, weekend and emergency availability if needed
•    Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
