Minute Suites, LLC – Dallas-Fort Worth, TX

Core Functions

  • Attends to all guest needs in a First Class Mentality.
  • Check In/Out all guest in a professional and orderly manner.
  • Promotes/sells/secures sales from existing and prospective guest through a relationship-based approach.
  • Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Exceeds monthly sales per hour goal targets and guest service quality scores.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including but not limited to day, evening, nights, overnights and weekend shifts.

Details of Function

  • Possesses knowledge of all Minute Suites services and products.
  • Greets guests professionally and courteously with “Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening, Welcome to Minute Suites” in front of reception area.
  • Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of literature and consulting with marketing and operational service areas.
  • Answers inquiries and registers guests into the suites using the 7 point demo presentation and adds suggestive selling at the beginning and end of guest experience.
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Possesses knowledge of company software, reservation and billing systems.
  • Maintains and controls suite inventory and availability through the POS system.
  • Possesses knowledge of suites products, rates, and special programs such as military and crew.
  • Possesses knowledge of, and uses, emergency procedures.
  • Possesses the skills for quality assurance and housekeeping using the top down and hug the wall approach.
  • Conducts inventory of and restocks supplies as needed.
  • Completes proper checkout procedures along with presenting merchandise products for guests.
  • Balances all accounts, and completes all required back-up documents.
  • Maintains security of location keys and cash drawer; counts and verifies the cash at the end of each shift with zero discrepancies.
  • Monitors guest accounts and notifies manager of any extreme changes to any guest account, or suspicious actions by guests to complete incident reports.
  • Ensure proper communication in log book and sign off during shifts.
  • Runs a detailed shift report by employee, and balances daily work to computers.
  • Maintains neatness of front reception work area.
  • Attends company training programs.
  • Performs other related duties and/or tasks as assigned by management.
  • Exercises the suites policies and procedures in reference to the aforementioned points.
  • Ability to stand at attention for up to 8 hours

Qualifications
Must possess a high school diploma with college experience preferred. Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach). Requires strong mathematical skills including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages and ability to apply concepts of basic algebra. Must be results-orientated and able to work independently as well as within a team environment. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications. Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Valid driver’s license required.
