Agape Diamonds is looking for dynamic, driven and creative sales associates to join our team and help turn our customers life's occasions into celebrations with a timeless gift of fine jewelry. At Agape Diamonds we offer unique, designer jewelry that is beautiful, affordable, and eco-friendly. Position Overview

Retail Sales Associates are responsible for engaging customers in conversation to understand their needs and objections; presenting merchandise and detailed information on features and benefits; offering financing options; working with the entire sales team to provide a superior experience to all of our valued customers and meeting individual and team sales goals.

What you will be doing

• Ensure the highest level of customer service is provided
• Advise customers on quality, cuts, and/or value of jewelry and assist in selecting mountings and/or settings
• Ability to generate sales and meet or exceed established sales goals
• Effectively communicate product features, benefits and promotions to increase sales
• Ability to work as a team in a sales presentation to overcome customers' objections and close additional sales
• Participate in all areas of store's operation including merchandising, displays, and maintenance
• Perform business opening and closing procedures
• Accurately processes all credit card transactions
• Effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and management
• Ensure that company merchandising and cleanliness standards are maintained such as cleaning display surfaces to maintain a beautiful presentation area
• Communicate merchandise trends, problems, and requests to store managers
• Stocks merchandise in the store

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will possess:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of retail sales experience and/or customer service experience
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Commitment to excellence and desire to grow within the company
• Goal oriented and sales driven with a passion to succeed
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to work with a variety of personalities
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check - no criminal records will be accepted
• Ability to work overtime on an occasional basis
• Maintain confidentiality
• Accuracy/attention to detail
