Flower Delivery Driver

Forget Me Not Flowers and Gifts is seeking a motivated and charismatic individual to help with deliveries during the holiday season! A qualified applicant will have/be:

• A valid Vermont driver's license
• A clean driving record
• A non smoker or capable of not smoking during their delivery shift
• Capable of following directions both in a driving sense as well as from management
• Friendly and outgoing and able to represent our business with a professional appearance
• Be able to lift at least 50 pounds

Pay will begin at 10 dollars an hour. We will provide the vehicle as well as take care of the gas money and repairs as needed. You will also be provided with a GPS to assist in out-of-town deliveries, but applicants should have a general knowledge of the area as well as know how to use/own a cell phone in case of emergencies. Our applicants should have a good personal appearance and may be provided a uniform shirt and cap if desired. Remember that a friendly face and a clean-cut appearance increase the chance of getting tips from customers!

You will also be responsible for keeping track on basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle. Informing us when oil changes are needed or when washer fluid runs out. You will also be given the task of running the van through a car wash now and then. 

• Tasks You Will Be Responsible For:
• - Delivering arrangements of all shapes and sizes to various businesses and residential areas.
• - Retrieving floral deliveries from our wholesaler and bringing them back to the shop
• - General cleanliness and upkeep of the delivery vehicle (we'll pay for it, but you will need to keep us informed on its status and appearance)
• - Potential store front assistance and upkeep should deliveries be minimal during shifts (sweeping, dusting, watering plants, etc.)
• - Assistance with event setups

Hours will range from 11am to 3pm on a general day, but may increase during holidays and busier weeks. Our applicant should be flexible with their schedule as there is the potential for the hours to extend around Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Mother's Day. We will do our best to inform you of changes in schedule at least 24 hours ahead of time.
