Why we rock:

The nicest way I can say it is most payment portals are cumbersome, clunky and built in what seems like 2008J (did they have websites back then???).   Your average portal first requires consumers to navigate to where they are going to make a payment.  With a 9 second attention span, consumers won't navigate anywhere. 

 

Most portals require consumers to create a user name and password...like you need another user name and password???  In the RARE event that a consumer gets this far (Forbes Magazine tells us that 67% will have abandoned LONG before now) they are required to find their account number and type it in along with their personal information such as address, amount owed etc.  If they made it through the process of making a payment they are part of a rare breed. 

 

Another reason most portals are ineffective is they don't help you understand what is going on inside your payment portal.  As an end user, you wont have a clue that 67% of people who hit your web portal are abandoning without making a payment.  Why?  With a typical portal there is no ability to see these kinds of stats. 

 

The average consumer today has the attention span of a gold fish...9 seconds.  revExpress takes the pain out of making an online payment and as a result, our clients collect 4x more money when using revExpress than if they were to use a typical portal.

 

With revExpress, there is:

            NO navigating (we use a personalized website instead)

            NO user name and password (we provide login details)

            NO long account number to type in (we prepopulate all data)

            NO frustrated consumer

            NO pathetic results

 

And of course, we want our clients to see how many people hit their payment sites each month and what their conversion rate from visit to payment actually is.  This is why we provide a user interface that our clients can use to determine their exact statistics for hits and payments on their pay sites.  As a matter of fact, we see a conversion rate of more than 77% across all platforms.  When someone hits our pay site and doesn't pay, we even send an email to our client so they can call the consumer to take a payment over the phone.

About the company:

In business since 2009, revExpress is a company that helps people use online tools to maximize the returns from their business.  We make technology so easy to use it drives results.   We are privately held and have plenty of cash on hand.  We have a stable revenue stream and we are growing.  Our biggest need is in developing and executing new growth strategies, hence the need for an intern who can help support existing staff.

From an IT perspective, we have built a robust SaaS platform.  We are currently releasing version 2 of our SaaS cloud based software platform.  Our model is incredibly scalable and we have huge market potential. 

 

Opportunity:

This is a paid internship.  We are looking for an intern who has between 15-20 hours per week available.  The position has the potential to grow into a full time position for the right person.  You do not have to be a software savant to take advantage of this opportunity.  We already have those on staff.  revExpress is seeking a highly motivated person with experience or the strong willingness to learn about outbound marketing campaigns.  The person will work with one of our managing partners on creating various marketing campaigns including tasks related to social media, e-mail marketing, direct mail marketing, blogging, analytics, SEO, marketing to resellers etc.  Please do not send your resume.   Please just answer the questions at the end of this ad and email them to the email address provided.  The person who fills this role will have the opportunity to grow exponentially both personally and professionally.  Working remotely is OK, but regular meetings are held at our office in San Clemente.  You must be dependable and eager to learn.
