Counter Person - Part-time

Job Responsibilities:

• Answer phones, and take orders over the phone
• Work the cash register, and take orders in person
• Food portioning/preparation which includes beef, pasta, dressings, salads and parmesan cheese cups.
• Daily cleaning which includes wiping down tables/booths, cleaning counter tops/condiment area, cleaning the soda machine, and other daily assigned cleaning tasks.
• Bringing food out to tables, we are not a full service with waiters or waitresses but we do bring the food out to those that dine in.
• Working well with others, being respectful, being able to multitask, and being able to work at a fast pace.

Required Work Experience/Prerequisite :

• We would prefer some work experience in foods, it definitely would be an advantage, but it is not required. We do provide a 2 week paid training, and we do our best to schedule you around how your availability matches up with our current staff is availability.
• You must be at least 16 years old to work at the pizzeria
• We do ask that all our employees have a Illinois Food Handlers Certification, which can be done online for only $7 and it takes at most an hour to do. If you do not have it, we understand you will have to have it done and printed out before the end of your 2 week training.
• We are looking for afternoon/night shifts to fill for both the weekday and weekend

Special Notes:

• We do have set schedules once you are on the schedule, we do not do rotating schedule. The way our system works is that you only know your starting time is a guarantee. Your shift ends bases upon the managers decision which he bases it on how business is doing.
