Job Title: Nurse Practitioner Location: Santa Barbara, California Opportunity: FullTime (PartTime may be considered) General Summary: A growing multispecialty neurology group is looking to hire a Nurse Practitioner for inpatient care at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with our physicians in a team approach to neurology patient care which includes assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating, and educating patients in an acute inpatient setting.
Several positions available, including day and evening coverage. The Nurse Practitioner will assist in code strokes and emergency neurology care under the supervision of the neurohospitalist.
Training will be provided by the group. Competitive salary and benefit package is offered.
About the hospital: Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital is a 483 bed acute care teaching hospital and trauma center, the largest of its kind between Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Requirements: The potential candidate must have completed advanced training from an approved NP program with current license in the stat e of California by date of hire.Clinical experience is highly desired in Neurology but is not a requirement.
